Education/Background: Shannon is a member of One Community Health’s clinical team whose job is to help people reach the best version of themselves. Her approach to her work at One Community Health is informed by her own life history as a person who has utilized mental health services and as a member of a first-generation immigrant family. Shannon teaches yoga, and mindfulness, and is a certified yoga therapist through the international association of yoga therapists. For many years, Shannon has worked with people who have experienced trauma; she completed her practicum at HAVEN, supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. She feels honored when people trust her enough to share their life stories and wisdom and is awed by human resilience. Whether you are working on changing behaviors, navigating life adjustments, or need help with mental health or substance use challenges, Shannon is available to listen and support you. She believes that healthcare is a human right. Shannon is passionate about being an ally to Native American people.
