Behavioral Health Services

Behavioral Health Services for Adults, Children, and Adolescents

One Community Health is committed to providing all our patients with the support they need to ensure a healthier lifestyle. Behavioral health is an important part of overall health and well-being. It focuses on the relationship between an individual’s behavior and mental health, and how they interact to affect physical and emotional health. Behavioral health is an essential part of many healthcare plans and can provide a range of services for individuals. Treatment for behavioral health issues may include individual counseling, group therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.

Native American Behavioral Health Services

In March 2020, OCH began formally prioritizing the unique healthcare needs of Native People living along the Columbia River and outlying communities.  Providing culturally appropriate care for the health and well-being of Native People here along the river is especially important because local tribal communities are far from many Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities on the reservations.

The primary focus of OCH’s Native American Health and Wellness Team is to provide mobile integrated care to the 32 different tribal communities along the river, with a peak population reach of approximately 1,200 people during the height of the Salmon fishing season. OCH’s Wy-Kan-Ush-Pum (Salmon People) Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) provides a wide range of health services, including behavioral health.
